The 4th AZ FMA Friendship Gathering!

The 4th AZ FMA Friendship Gathering will be held on November 15, 2009 from 11am until 5pm at Margaret T. Hance park in Phoenix, AZ. Please click here to download more info, map and directions.

Featured instructors for the event (which may change) are: Mr. Ted Rabino of Original Giron Eskrima and Mr. Steve Kohn of South East Asia Blend.

Unlike the previous gatherings with 3 or 4 instructors in the line up, this one only has 2 and will end with a non-competitive sparring session.

I'd like to thank Simon, owner/operator of "eskrimakaliarnis.com" and eBay store "Sticks and Buddhas" for providing the padded sticks what we will use during the sparring session.

Anyone and everyone is invited to this event, FMA practitioner or otherwise. There is NO COST to attend or participate. Rather, please contribute a food item for the potluck BBQ - main dish, side, salads, drinks, whatever - if you have a certain special dish that you make, we would all be more than happy to eat it!

Located in the beautiful seaside town of Santa Cruz, California, the 4th Annual Inayan Gathering once again brought a terrific group of Inayan students, friend and fresh faces together to share the Filipino Martial Arts. This year’s instructor line up included old friends and favorites as well as a few new faces.
